CAP Studio

Cut and Paste studio has a 19’ x 15’ control room , a 9’ x 6’ Recording room and a 6’ x 4’ vocal booth. The studio is a fully automated recording studio with state of the art Equipment. At the center of the studio cut and paste features a Pro Tools HD 2 system paired with a digidesign Control 24 mixer/controller. The studio is also equipped with a variety of external equipment and a huge selection of plug-ins.

Cut and Paste is a facility covering all music genres. Services offered at the studio include recording, mixing, mastering, voiceovers, original music composition, sound effects, and any other audio production service.

Cut and Paste is Operated by Cristian Perez and David Lizarde,Both engineers have an extensive musical and technical background and are fully dedicated to achieve the highest quality at the end of each project. At Cut and Paste we have a great appreciation and understanding of all types of music and are looking forward to work with you.

Cristian Perez

Cristian Perez, is an audio engineer/producer based in Los Angeles, California. Cristian acquired an Associate Degree of Music from El Camino College in Torrance California and after three years of studying music exclusively, he transferred to California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) and received a Bachelors Degree in Digital Media Arts: Audio Recording. After graduating from CSUDH he attended AudioGraph International to study under the expertise of José “Chilitos” Valenzuela and obtained his Digidesign Pro Tools Operator Certification.

He has also been working at AGI since 2005 as Chilitos’ personal assistant, teaching ProTools Courses and working on many of AGI studio projects.

Cristian also owns and operates Cut and Paste Recording Studio where he records, mixes and produces local bands.
